Online Auctions with Old Souls Farm- All bidders must create a user account.
- All bidding is final - it is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure the bidding amounts are correct.
- Proxy bidding is allowed. You can select the automatic bidding option to use this feature.
Winning Bidder & Payment of Invoice - The winning bidder will receive an email indicating purchase confirmation. Old Souls Farm will send an invoice via email to the winning bidder within 48 hours. The winning bidder must pay the invoice electronically. The full auction amount must be received in-full within three (3) business days. Any invoices not paid within three (3) business days are subject to a 5% late fee, if paid with seven (7) business days. Any items not paid for within seven (7) business days will be forfeited by the winning bidder and the winning bidder will be assessed a 15% restocking fee. The animal will then be awarded to the next highest bidder.
Pick-up & Transportation - Buyer must arrange pickup or shipping to take place within 30 days of the end of the auction. Buyer is responsible for coordinating pick-up of animal(s) with Old Souls Farm, and covering all transportation logistics and costs.
Board – Buyers who do not pick up their animal(s) within 30 days of sale will be charged $100 per animal for boarding at Old Souls Farm, with a $3/day fee (per animal) incurred for each additional day the animal remains at Old Souls Farm after the initial 30 day period.
Risk of Loss - Each animal becomes property and risk of Buyer as soon as it is sold. Old Souls Farm recommends buyers insure their purchases.
Warranties - Except for those stated in the below terms and conditions, there are no warranties, either expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose with respect to the cattle being sold.
Animal Health & Inspection – Old Souls Farm will provide a health certificate (including Bangs), vet inspection, and certified brand inspection for the transport of any animals out of the state of Oregon. Any additional tests required by a specific state for entry (i.e. Blue Tongue, Tuberculosis, Anaplasmosis) are the responsibility of the buyer.
AHCA Registration – Old Souls Farm will submit applications to transfer ownership of AHCA registered cattle to Buyer once cattle are paid for and within two weeks of Sale.
Care of Animals Pending Pick-up - Old Souls Farm will provide feed and care for the cattle for a period of 30 days prior to pick-up, at no cost.
