Gooseberry's Abedeen -- we call her Abby -- is a larger-framed, docile cow. She has a beautiful, deep build, with a shaggy winter coat. Previous owners used to give her treats and scratches, so she's used to human contact. Abby is confirmed bred for a spring calf, likely sired by Duncan II of Faye-AAA (D).
Abby's calf is a yellow heifer, born 05/24/24. Registration pending as Old Souls Charlotte. Sire is likely WFF Jordan's Buddy, pending DNA confirmation. Other potential sires are Old Souls Lochaber and WFF Henry (see Old Souls herd bull listings for more details on these bulls).
Duncan II of Faye-AAA (D) - AHCA Reg. No. 58837. Duncan's dam, LEA Faye (D), was the dam of the famous national champion Finley Falls Duncan (D). Duncan II is also a heavy, deep-bodied, dun bull who has a great temperament, excellent feet, a proven breeding history with Great Scots Highland Ranch out of Washington. He's the type of bull that will add value to any herd.
Dam: Vannah of Boise Creek - AHCA Reg. No. 47154
Sire: Final of Windy Ridge (D) - AHCA Reg. No. 52019
